Connecting the Dots in Indiana

When Interstate Business Solutions needed federal and state regulatory alignment to activate a public-private partnership in Indiana, Shepherd Strategies helped connect the dots—facilitating coordination across FHWA requirements, state transportation officials, and local stakeholders to bring a compelling project to life. The result benefits the local community, the state, and federal infrastructure goals simultaneously. Building on Phase 1’s success, Shepherd Strategies is now working with Interstate Business Solutions to replicate this model nationwide.

Restoring a Block Island Icon

After a devastating fire destroyed Block Island’s iconic Harborside Inn in August 2023, Shepherd Strategies partnered with The Haynes Group to help rebuild, not just the structure, but the stakeholder alignment needed to make it possible. Through strategic relationship-building and focused coordination across town, state, and private interests, our team helped move this complex project from vision to groundbreaking. The Harborside Inn, a cornerstone of Rhode Island’s tourism economy since 1879, is anticipated to reopen in summer 2027.

Answering the Call

Shepherd Strategies strives to align our clients with government interests by providing real-world industry feedback to decision-makers. When the U.S. Department of Energy requested industry comment on its plans to power data centers nationwide, we led our clients in providing industry-led data, shaping decision-makers, and initiating new federal bid opportunities.

Launching U.S. Innovation

After supporting multiple small- to medium-sized enterprises creating and manufacturing U.S. power supply products, we proudly led the launch of three new U.S. factories, while securing millions of dollars of state, federal, and local funding for the entities that recently became Forgent Power- now one of the largest publicly traded manufacturing, engineering, and service companies in the world.
